Hi, I'm Daniel.
I'm an experienced Producer and Communications professional.
Over the last decade, I've worked as a journalist, or in TV news production, for the likes of CNBC, ITV, ITN Productions, Channel 4 and others.
I've produced live television political debates, panel shows and lectures. I've written long-form features and implemented successful communication strategies to engage new audiences.
In 2025, I led a communications team to produce 198 original news stories for King's College London, we also increased our social media following by 86% and saw a (incredibly close but frustratingly not quite 100) 99.8% increase in website traffic, both versus 2024.

This year, 2026, I'm writing a new feature series, called Deconstructed, where I speak to experts in the UK news industry in order to explain how it works (and hopefully help us all understand it a bit more).

I'm currently undertaking the flagship NCTJ Diploma in Journalism. A lot has changed between when I qualified (Goldsmiths College in 2012, if you're wondering) and now, so it's a great way to a) see what newly-minted journalists are being taught and b) learning new things along the way.
